I evaluate each product using five criteria: formula transparency, quality of evidence, seller claim accuracy, purchase and refund terms, and overall value. I do not claim to have personally used a product unless I actually have, and reviews say so explicitly either way.
What I do before publishing a review
- Read the seller's current sales page and FAQ in full, including the fine print on pricing, shipping and refunds.
- Identify every factual or scientific claim the seller makes and check it against the seller's own product — not just evidence for one ingredient in general.
- Cross-check ingredient and mechanism claims against primary sources where they exist: government health databases (such as NIH/NCCIH), regulatory monographs (such as the EMA), and peer-reviewed research.
- Flag any number or claim I could not independently verify, and say so in the review rather than repeating it as fact.
- Check the current guarantee, refund window and purchase terms directly on the seller's page, with the date I checked.
- Write the review in plain English, distinguishing what the seller says from what I found.
How I keep reviews current
Sellers change formulas, prices, guarantees and marketing claims without notice. Each review lists a "last fact-checked" date, and I revisit reviews periodically to catch changes — particularly to pricing, refund terms and any claim I previously flagged as unverified.
What this site will not do
- Invent a personal experience with a product I have not used.
- Use fabricated testimonials or stock photos presented as real customers.
- Accept payment, free product or any other consideration in exchange for a favorable rating.
- Let a seller preview, edit or approve a review before publication.
